My new album, VESSEL, comes out in a week. VESSEL is the culmination of years of experimentation and traveling down the live/improvisational/looping rabbit hole. VESSEL is a living document, a mile-marker on my musical journey.
What started as a desire to find a way to perform solo has turned into a deeper pursuit. I am fascinated by reactions to my performances and the power that music holds to bring relief, rest, and even catharsis to the audience. I hope that VESSEL contains some of whatever-that-special-ju-ju is for you!
VESSEL is available for pre-order at my Bandcamp page. As a fun experiment I want to offer either a unique one-of-a-kind recorded improvisation OR a one-hour Skype session to anyone who pre-orders and chooses to pay $100 or more. Your choice!
Personal improvisations will be recorded and delivered on a first-come-first-served basis.
Skype sessions can be about guitar playing, looping, philosophy, mushroom-based beverages, or discussions of Peter Gabriel’s recorded catalog. Skype sessions will be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time before January 1, 2019.
