Walls of Chordage, Racer Sessions, and Upcoming Shows.

Here's a nice excerpt from the 9/24/16 edition of Live Atmospheres at the Storyville Roasting Studio. It's from about the half-way point of my 4-hour performance. Somehow I conjured a pretty dense wall of  grinding chordage, which pleasantly reminds me of John Luther Adams gorgeous composition Become Ocean. Which you should listen to if you haven't yet.

This is an excerpt from the 9/24/16 edition of Live Atmospheres, my twice-monthly improvisational ambient residency at the Storyville Roasting Studio on Bainbridge Island. All sounds are generated on the fly using pedals, looping, and plug-ins...there's no pre-recorded content.

I'll be "presenting" this Sunday, Oct 2nd at Cafe Racer's Racer Sessions series. I think that's just a way of saying that it's a evening geared towards listening and creativity. I'll be playing a solo set, followed by an open jam. Visit their website to read my artist's statement about the show. Should be a blast. Come to play, come to listen, come to say hello. The show starts at 8pm.

Also, I'll be making an appearance at the Y2K16 Looping Festival in Santa Cruz around Oct 22-23, as well as some shows in the Bay Area, Sacramento, Humboldt County and possibly Southern Oregon. Stay tuned for more details!
